ATM designer wins Lorenzo TT R1 livery competition

ATM designer John Holland won MCN’s Lorenzo TT livery competition. Designers were asked to create the livery for Jorge Lorenzo’s R1 that he will be riding on a demo lap around the prestigious Isle of Man TT circuit. Jorge Lorenzo said: “It wasn’t an easy choice because the designs were all so good.” He continued: “I’m really looking forward to riding on on the famous track and now my bike will look very cool.” MCN adding: “The R1 looks stunning in the black, warrior livery and it wasn’t an easy competition to judge!”

Making a stop at the famous Italian factory on route to India, to help open a Ducati new store, Hayden got a chance to see the new Ducati GP10 up close. Armed with his mobile phone Nicky snapped a photo of the new bike and posted the photo to his own website.

The Skoda Fabia of Piero Longhi (with Luca Cassol as co-driver) was the car which started the 30° edition of the Monza Rally Show, the rally event which has been running since 1978. Five more stages will be competed today, while the last two stages will take place on Sunday morning. On Sunday, from 2 p.m., the “Master Show”, spectacular knockout stage, will be run on a track built along the start/finish straight.
